New Legislations: Spiritual Warfare against the Church?
Christian values are under increasing attack—not by the sword, but through laws that erode religious freedom. The war against faith is fierce, though less obvious to the average believer. You must choose a side; neutrality is the most dangerous place to be. Scripture warns against being lukewarm (Revelation 3:15-16), and true faith requires full commitment. Do not be yoked with the secular world—live boldly in the Spirit, stand firm, and defend the truth. Prayer and unwavering conviction are more necessary now than ever. READ MORE...

New Washington State Law will require Priests to violate the Seal of the Confessional
It is deeply concerning to witness the increasing encroachment on Christian pillars and moral values in recent decades. While the early Church faced persecution through martyrdom, today’s opposition has taken a more insidious form—one that is often unrecognized by the average believer. The faithful must remain vigilant, for the battle against Christianity is no less fierce than before; it is simply fought through legislation and cultural shifts rather than the sword.
The recent law in Washington State, which mandates that priests violate the sacred seal of confession, is a glaring example of this attack on religious freedom. The First Amendment guarantees the free exercise of religion, yet laws like these seek to erode that fundamental right. Canon Law is clear: the seal of confession is inviolable (Can. 983 §1), and any priest who breaks it incurs automatic excommunication. This is not merely a legal issue—it is a spiritual crisis.
Similar trends have been observed across society, where Christian values are increasingly marginalized. The rise of secularization and moral relativism has led to a weakening of the foundational principles that have guided Western civilization for centuries. The erosion of religious freedoms, the redefinition of marriage and family, and the suppression of Christian voices in public discourse all point to a broader effort to silence the faith.
Scripture warns us of times like these: “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted”
(2 Timothy 3:12). Christ Himself foretold that His followers would face opposition: “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you” (John 15:18). Yet, we are called to stand firm. As Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness.”
A Call to Spiritual Awakening:
Now more than ever, believers must be steadfast in prayer and unwavering in faith. But beyond prayer, we must examine our own lives: are we truly living in the Spirit, or have we settled for lukewarm faith? The greatest deception is thinking one can stand in the middle—not fully committed to Christ, yet hesitant to embrace the world. Scripture is clear: “I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm… I will spit you out of my mouth” (Revelation 3:15-16). There is no neutrality in the kingdom of God; there are two worlds at war, and every believer must choose a side.
We are warned in 2 Corinthians 6:14: “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?”
To be yoked with the secular world is to slowly drift from the truth, and before one realizes it, compromise becomes the norm. A life led by the Spirit is a life fully surrendered, fully transformed—a life where faith is not merely professed but boldly lived.
This is the hour for Christians to rise, not retreat—to remain firm in the face of opposition, fully anchored in the truth of God’s Word. The Church has endured persecution before, and it will endure again. But we must not be passive—we must speak out, defend our rights, and remain rooted in Christ. There is no room for fear, no place for hesitation. The world is watching, but more importantly, God is calling. Will anyone answer?
